ROBERTA BARRY

Roberta Barry is the President and CEO of John Barry and Associates, a well-established, family-run industrial engineering and management consulting firm with over 65 years of engineering excellence. With more than 30 years of experience at JBA, Roberta is a highly skilled relationship manager and operations professional. She leads the company, which provides expertise in engineering, project management, automation design, lean manufacturing, and move management, serving a clientele of small, medium, and large companies. She is continuing a strong legacy of excellence in supporting client needs.

JANE BARRY-MORAN

Jane Barry-Moran is third-generation John Barry and Associates Leadership and represents the team in all operations and business development decisions. With a rich background in people and operations management, Jane serves as a pivotal figure in orchestrating the day-to-day operations and spearheading new business initiatives for JBA. Drawing from a legacy of “engineering excellence,” Jane brings a deep understanding of the landscape of industrial layout and move management from the business side.

JAMES GAPP

James Gapp has served JBA clients with outstanding project management for over 19 years. James combines solid engineering practices with outstanding organizational skills and has assisted numerous JBA clients in their important complex moves. James has a solid background in engineering, IT, project management, and hands-on move management experience. Notably, he spearheaded the project management for the Wellington Foods facility, a sprawling 180,000+ square foot industrial site manufacturing vitamins and sauces. James’ expertise in managing large-scale projects ensures efficient execution and successful outcomes for JBA’s clients in all areas of move and facility planning.

MONIQUE DINN

Monique Dinh has assisted in the support of multiple complex project management, facility planning, and move coordination projects. Monique has supported multiple vendor selection programs, facility site selection, analysis projects, marketing support programs, and several eminent domain activities. Specializing in managing vendor relationships, Monique supports JBA’s clients as they navigate the intricate web of vendor partnerships. Monique also fosters internal relationships with the client team to ensure the flow of communications and support of projects overall.

BARNEY MOSES

Barney is a Move Management Specialist and Senior member of the JBA team for Move projects. For more than 35 years, Barney has been the central figure in hundreds of Southern California projects. His expertise spans office, industrial, technology, and sequenced media moves, like libraries and file rooms.

JASON GUARDADO

Jason Guardado is a native of Los Angeles, California. He holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and returned to his hometown after graduation. He has earned his Engineer in Training certification by passing the Fundamentals of Engineering exam. For the past nine months, he has worked with JBA as a Project Engineer, contributing to the technical aspects of project management and engaging directly with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and contractors. In his personal life, he is bilingual in English and Spanish, with a working knowledge of Italian.

Ru Chao is a highly skilled Industrial Engineer with a proven history of applying lean principles and methodologies to identify continuous improvement opportunities and proactively developing and leading successful execution of projects. His experience includes developing facility design/layout for optimized space utilization and workflow, developing labor and staffing solutions, developing engineered standards for automation and innovative solutions, and training peers on lean practices.

Ru Chao has held extensive full-time and consulting roles with industry-leading organizations. His previous roles include Supply Chain Engineering Project Leader at NFI Industries, Senior Industrial Engineer at Petco Animal Supplies Inc, Senior Customer Support Engineer at Neovia Logistics, Senior Industrial Engineering Consultant - Supply Chain at Tompkins International, Senior Industrial Engineer at Fender Musical Instruments Corp, Senior Industrial Engineer at STAPLES, Senior Industrial Engineer and Industrial Engineer at Disneyland, and Senior Industrial Engineer at Walt Disney Imagineering.
